Kunshan Qiaoyuan

The customer, Kunshan Qiaoyuan Food Processing Company, purchased an IQF freezer from Square Technology to produce taro balls for Bubble tea, a key ingredient in the beverage. The freezer has a capacity of 2 tons/hr. Taro starch, used in the product, tends to stick to each other and the belt. Square Technology’s IQF freezer boasts powerful airflow, ensuring sufficient circulation around the product as it flows above the belt. Taro balls can be rapidly frozen from 30°C to -18°C in under 8 minutes, significantly faster than the walk-in blast freezers previously used. This has enabled the customer to achieve a daily output of 20 tons in their current workshop.
