An Integrated Solution for Freeze Dry for Pet Food Processing

Canature Processing Ltd. is a global leader in the production of premium, freeze-dried pet food and treats. It has North America’s largest integrated freeze-drying facilities.

Canature Kitchen LA is a new production facility in Corona, California. The anticipated production capacity of the new facility will be 1,500 tons of freeze-dried pet food annually.

After years’ partnership with Canature Processing Ltd., Square provided the key freezing equipment for the newly completed Canature Kitchen LA plant, which guarantees the performance of the processing plant to achieve the production capacity.

The state of art freezing equipment includes: spiral freezer with CIP cleaning system, refrigeration system with multi Mycom compound two stage compressors, blast freezers, freeze dry chambers, and totally integrated control system with MCC (motor control center) cabinets.

Spiral Freezer

Spiral freezer is designed to continuously freeze the extruded meat products and achieve the expected temperature to prepare the raw material.

CIP cleaning system provides benefits:

Refrigeration system

A central refrigeration system made of 4 units of Mayekawa compound two stage compressors, total refrigeration capacity of 1300KW.

• The pressure vessels are in house made with compliance to ASME code.
• The Danfoss and Hansen refrigeration valves are used in the refrigeration system.
• The smart control system is based on Siemens components

Freeze Dry Chambers

Freeze-drying is a natural food preservation technique that retains the flavor, nutrients and bio-availability of the product while being extremely convenient as it extends the shelf life and is easy to transport.

Square’s advanced manufacturing capabilities guarantee the quality and performance of freeze dryer.

Each freeze dryer was under strict vacuum test before delivery.

Air Coolers

Air coolers are from Square Technology Group meet international standards, and the quality is guaranteed by the best machinery and strict quality control.

The workshop is equipped with state of art manufacturing machineries, including automatic tube bender, tube expander, CNC machines from Italy, metal sheet fabricating machine from Germany, continuous painting line and other machinery and quality assurance devices.
